Roma are monitoring Mert Müldür as they search for a new option on the right flank following Zeki Çelik’s move to Juventus.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Fenerbahçe defender is among the names being considered by sporting director Tony D’Amico.
Çelik’s unexpected departure has forced Roma to reassess their plans with Gian Piero Gasperini now requiring another versatile player for the right side.
Müldür is already familiar with Serie A after spending four seasons at Sassuolo between 2019 and 2023. The 27-year-old can play as a right-back, wing-back or in a more defensive role.
His experience in Italy, EU passport and contract situation could make him an accessible option. Müldür’s current deal with Fenerbahçe expires in 2027, potentially giving Roma room to negotiate a reduced fee.
The Turkey international remains one of several candidates under consideration as Roma work to replace Çelik.
