Roma remain focused on signing Crysencio Summerville, but the club is also preparing alternative options should the deal fail to materialize.
According to Corriere della Sera, the Giallorossi have set a deadline for the Summerville negotiations to avoid a repeat of last summer’s unsuccessful pursuit of Mason Greenwood.
Among the alternatives is Alejandro Garnacho with Roma reportedly exploring the possibility of a loan move. The club are also monitoring Can Uzun, the 19-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt attacker who recorded 10 goals and six assists in 28 appearances last season.
Another name under consideration is Said El Mala of FC Köln. The highly rated 19-year-old contributed 13 goals and five assists in 36 matches. Meanwhile, Antonio Nusa remains an admired target although a move is currently considered unlikely.
