Roma are already planning for the possibility of Manu Koné’s departure this summer, with two midfielders emerging as their preferred replacement options.
According to SportMediaset‘s Orazio Accomando, the Giallorossi are particularly interested in Juventus midfielder Khéphren Thuram and Botafogo’s Danilo should Koné leave the club before the transfer window closes.
Koné continues to attract strong interest from several clubs, specifically Manchester United, prompting Roma to monitor potential successors as they prepare for every scenario ahead of the new season.
Update from Ekrem Konur:
According to Ekrem Konur, Roma are monitoring Khéphren Thuram as a potential replacement should Manu Koné’s depart the capital this summer.
Thuram joined Juventus from OGC Nice in July 2024 for €20 million, but the Bianconeri are now expected to demand between €40 million and €50 million for the French midfielder.
Juventus also rejected a €50 million cash offer from a Saudi Arabian club during the January 2026 transfer window underlining their valuation of the 25-year-old.
