Roma are set to receive a financial boost thanks to Manu Koné’s involvement with the French national team.
According to Calcio e Finanza, the Giallorossi will earn an estimated $280,000 in FIFA compensation after Koné spent 56 days with France during the international tournament.
The midfielder ranks third among Serie A players in terms of revenue generated for their club through the FIFA compensation program.
The payment is part of FIFA’s initiative to reward clubs for releasing players for international duty during major tournaments. While the figure is modest in the context of the transfer market, it provides Roma with an additional source of income as the club continues to manage its finances during the summer window.
