Crysencio Summerville has spoken directly with Gian Piero Gasperini as Roma continue working to secure the West Ham winger.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma presented their sporting and tactical project to Summerville during the conversation. The contact followed the player’s recent openness to a move to the Italian capital.
The deal now depends on Roma’s financial investment. The Giallorossi are expected to improve their offer to West Ham to move negotiations forward.
Summerville has been convinced by Gasperini’s plans, but the final decision now rests with the Friedkin family as Roma consider the required investment.
