Roma have officially announced the contract renewal of Gianluca Mancini with the defender committing his future to the club until 2029.
The 29-year-old has become one of the Giallorossi’s most important leaders since arriving in 2019. A key figure both on and off the pitch, Mancini has made 319 appearances and scored 23 goals in all competitions for Roma.
In the club’s official statement Roma praised the defender’s impact and connection with the supporters.
“Mancini has become a point of reference for the club and the fans over the years. Congratulations, Gianluca!”
The renewal secures the future of one of Gian Piero Gasperini’s defensive leaders with sporting director Tony D’Amico continuing to strengthen the foundations of the squad before turning his full attention to the remainder of the summer transfer window.
