Roma remain fully focused on signing Crysencio Summerville despite ongoing speculation surrounding the deal.
According to Alfredo Pedullà the Giallorossi do not need to negotiate a transfer fee with West Ham because the player’s release clause remains valid, although it is set to expire very soon.
Pedullà also clarified that the clause is below €50 million including all related costs. He noted that reports suggesting it was worth £50 million are inaccurate and should be corrected.
For now, Roma have not decided to move on from Summerville. The Dutch winger remains the club’s priority target even though Alejandro Garnacho and Antonio Nusa continue to feature on the shortlist as alternative options.
With the release clause approaching its expiration date Roma now face a crucial decision on whether to activate it and complete the move for one of Gian Piero Gasperini’s top attacking targets.

Pedullà adds that a move for Garnacho alongside Crysencio Summerville cannot be ruled out, although such a double signing is not being considered at this stage of the transfer window.
