Roma remain determined to sign Diego Moreira and pair him with Wesley on the flanks as Gian Piero Gasperini prepares his squad for the Champions League.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma have already reached an agreement with Moreira on a contract worth around €2 million per season.
The deal has slowed because of a difference in valuation with Strasbourg.
Roma do not want to exceed €30 million, while the French club continue to demand €40 million for the Belgian international.
Despite the €10 million gap, the deal is not considered impossible. Roma believe further negotiations could still lead to an agreement, with Tony D’Amico continuing his efforts to lower Strasbourg’s demands.
