Roma have identified Nicolò Tresoldi as their leading target to provide cover for Donyell Malen.
According to Il Tempo the striker has given his full approval to the move. Roma are now waiting to learn Club Brugge’s demands with important developments possible between Monday and Tuesday.
Tresoldi’s arrival would not depend on the sale of Artem Dovbyk, who is considered outside Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans. The Italian-German forward has impressed in Belgium and the Champions League convincing Roma that he can offer reliable depth.
His signing could also affect Robinio Vaz, who may remain as the third striker and earn minutes across three competitions.
