Lorenzo Pellegrini remains determined to stay at Roma after rejecting interest from Juventus.
According to Corriere dello Sport the midfielder has reached a basic agreement with Roma on a salary worth €3 million net per season.
However, the renewal has not yet been finalized.
The remaining issue is the length of the contract. Pellegrini wants a three-year deal, while Roma are currently only prepared to offer a two-year extension.
Talks are continuing as both sides work to close the gap. Pellegrini has always prioritized staying in the capital despite Juventus trying to bring him into Luciano Spalletti’s project.
