Roma Expect Summerville Decision by Tuesday as Schjelderup Emerges as Another Addition

Roma expect to receive West Ham’s final response for Crysencio Summerville on Tuesday as they continue their push to land Gian Piero Gasperini’s priority attacking target.

According to Angelo Mangiante, Roma’s latest offer is worth around €50 million including bonuses, with no release clause involved. The Giallorossi remain confident after reaching an agreement with the player and are pressing to finally deliver the wide forward Gasperini has been asking for over the past year.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup is also among the profiles being monitored by sporting director Tony D’Amico. Gian Piero Gasperini wants two attacking additions to his squad and the Norwegian could bring much needed attacking talent to the capital.

The 2004-born Norwegian winger impressed during the 2026 World Cup, contributing one goal and three assists, and is coming off a strong campaign under José Mourinho with Benfica, recording 10 goals and seven assists in 43 appearances. Roma previously tracked Schjelderup during the winter transfer window, and he remains one of the alternatives as the club looks to strengthen Gasperini’s attack.
