Roma remain active in the search for a new full-back despite recent setbacks in the transfer market.
According to Il Tempo‘s Lorenzo Pes, a deal for Diego Moreira has cooled in recent days. While Roma had already reached an agreement with the player Strasbourg’s high asking price has pushed the move further away.
Sporting director Tony D’Amico is continuing to explore alternative options, but neither Nahuel Molina nor Dodô are currently convincing the club.
With Gian Piero Gasperini eager to strengthen the flanks before the new season, Roma are expected to keep evaluating new targets as the transfer window progresses.
