Crysencio Summerville has reportedly chosen to join Al Hilal, bringing Roma’s long pursuit of the Dutch winger close to an unsuccessful conclusion.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, Roma have been informed of the player’s decision and have already started evaluating alternative attacking targets. Summerville is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Saudi club in the coming days.
Daniele Lo Monaco also reports renewed pessimism around the deal with Roma appearing resigned to moving on to other options.
Eleonora Trotta adds that confidence is growing in Saudi Arabia where Al Hilal believe they now have the transfer under control.
Roma had pushed hard to convince Summerville through their sporting project, but Al Hilal’s significantly larger financial package appears to have proved decisive.

According to Filippo Biafora the Dutch winger has now completed the second and final part of his medical examinations with Al-Hilal clearing the final hurdle before the transfer is formally announced.
