Gian Piero Gasperini has selected his starting lineup for Roma’s preseason friendly against Trastevere offering another look at his preferred tactical setup.
According to ManasportRoma, the Giallorossi will line up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with Mile Svilar starting in goal behind a back three of Gianluca Mancini, Evan Ndicka and Mario Hermoso.
Devyne Rensch and Angeliño are expected to operate as wing-backs, while Bryan Cristante partners Bah in midfield. Paulo Dybala and Luigi Cherubini will play just behind Donyell Malen, who leads the attack.
Roma XI (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso; Rensch, Cristante, Bah, Angeliño; Dybala, Cherubini; Malen.
The match will provide another opportunity for Gasperini to evaluate his squad as Roma continue preparations for the 2026-27 season.
