Roma Meet Antonio Nusa’s Agents as €60m Price Complicates Deal

Roma held a meeting with Antonio Nusa’s representatives on Wednesday as they continue to explore a move for the RB Leipzig winger.

According to Guiseppe Lomonaco of Manà Sport Roma, the Norwegian’s salary would comfortably fit within the club’s financial parameters.

However, negotiations remain difficult because Leipzig’s asking price starts at €60 million.

Newcastle are also showing strong interest in Nusa adding further competition for his signature.

Roma continue to assess other attacking targets with several names on the club’s shortlist yet to emerge publicly.

Update from Gazzetta dello Sport:

Roma have stepped up their pursuit of Antonio Nusa with sporting director Tony D’Amico moving quickly to explore a deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport the main obstacle is RB Leipzig’s valuation of the Norwegian winger, which stands between €55 million and €60 million.

Initial contacts have already taken place with both the Bundesliga club and the player’s representatives.
