Roma keep Santiago Castro talks alive as Tresoldi demands remain high

Roma remain in contact with Bologna over a possible move for Santiago Castro, according to Alfredo Pedullà.

The Argentine striker is valued at around €40 million, with discussions between the clubs still active. Artem Dovbyk is not expected to be included in any potential deal.

Roma are also continuing to explore a move for Nicolò Tresoldi. However, Club Brugge’s high asking price is making negotiations difficult and has strengthened Castro’s position as an alternative target.

The Giallorossi are expected to keep both tracks open as they assess the best option to reinforce Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.
