Roma’s plans for a new stadium at Pietralata continue to move forward, with another important step scheduled for next week.
Ryan Friedkin recently visited Trigoria during the opening days of the club’s preseason, where discussions are believed to have included the progress of the stadium project alongside football matters.
A key institutional meeting has now been scheduled for Monday, July 27 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sala Polifunzionale of the Presidency of the Council in Rome. The session will provide a detailed update on the administrative process surrounding the Pietralata stadium project.
According to reports, those attending will include Deputy Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini, Sports Minister Andrea Abodi, Euro 2032 stadium commissioner Massimo Sessa, Lazio Region president Francesco Rocca and Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri.
Roma will also send an official delegation to follow the latest developments, review the bureaucratic milestones already completed and assess the timeline leading to the start of construction.
The Friedkin ownership continues to push ahead with its long-term vision, hoping to become the first Roma owners to successfully deliver a privately owned stadium for the club.
