Roma remain interested in Christopher Nkunku as the club continues to explore attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season.
According to Il Messaggero, the French international has remained on the Giallorossi’s radar since January and continues to be a player highly appreciated by Gian Piero Gasperini. While a deal would be difficult to complete, Roma have not taken their eyes off the Chelsea forward.
The report adds that sporting director Tony D’Amico is evaluating several alternatives for the wing. One of those is Said El Mala, with Roma making an approach once it became clear that a move for Crysencio Summerville was becoming increasingly complicated.
Another name to re-emerge in discussions at Trigoria is Romeo Vermant Sauer, who has reportedly returned to Roma’s shortlist in recent hours as the club weighs up multiple attacking options.
With Gasperini eager to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes, Roma continue to assess a number of profiles as they search for the right addition in attack.
