Roma Ready to Sell Artem Dovbyk as Nicolò Tresoldi Emerges as Top Replacement Target

Roma are prepared to part ways with Artem Dovbyk this summer, even if it means accepting a loss on the striker’s transfer fee.

According to Il Messaggero, the Ukrainian forward is expected to leave the club, with Real Betis, Valencia, Genoa, and Fiorentina all monitoring his situation ahead of the new season.

Should Dovbyk depart, Roma have identified Nicolò Tresoldi as their leading replacement. The Club Brugge striker is highly regarded by the Giallorossi, but negotiations are far from straightforward.

The report states that Club Brugge are not refusing to sell, although they are demanding €40 million for the German forward. Roma consider that valuation too high and are unwilling to meet the asking price.

Instead, the Giallorossi are reportedly hoping to lower the Belgian club’s demands by leveraging their relationship with Tresoldi’s father as talks continue over a possible move to the Italian capital.
