Manu Koné remains an important part of Roma’s plans despite growing transfer interest.
The French midfielder is highly valued for his physical strength, technical quality and ability to influence both phases of the game. Roma believe he would be difficult to replace.
However, Financial Fair Play considerations mean the club must continue to evaluate major offers. Koné’s performances for France at the World Cup have also increased interest from clubs in Europe and abroad.
According to The Telegraph, Manchester United are monitoring the 25-year-old but not everyone inside the club is convinced about investing the €60 million Roma would require to begin negotiations.
Al Ahli are also considering a move.
Roma are not actively pushing Koné toward the exit. The club remain open to evaluating significant proposals, with his future likely to depend on the next steps taken by Manchester United and Al Ahli.
