Anass Salah-Eddine appears to be nearing the end of his Roma career after being left out of the club’s upcoming pre-season training camp in Wales.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the 2002-born left-back will not travel with Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad for the camp, which runs from July 31 to August 8. The decision is seen as a strong indication that both the club and the coach are preparing for the player’s departure this summer.
Salah-Eddine returned to Trigoria after spending last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, but the Dutch club decided not to exercise their option to make the move permanent.
Despite impressing with Morocco during the recent FIFA World Cup, the left-back has reportedly failed to convince Gasperini that he has a place in Roma’s plans for the 2026-27 campaign.
With pre-season preparations entering a crucial stage, Roma are now expected to find a new destination for Salah-Eddine before the summer transfer window closes.
