One name linked with Roma in recent hours is Marcus Rashford, who has returned to Manchester United following his loan spell at Barcelona.
According to Matteo Moretto, however, Rashford is not considered a realistic target. The operation would be too expensive and the England international does not fit the type of financially sustainable deal Roma are currently pursuing.
Intermediaries have reportedly explored the possibility of bringing Rashford to Trigoria, but there has been no indication that the player is open to a move to Italy.
For now, Roma are focused on closing the Castro deal while continuing their search for a winger who fits both Gasperini’s plans and the club’s budget.
