Anti-stadium groups admitted to decisive Roma stadium conference

Groups opposing Roma’s proposed new stadium have been admitted to the decisive Services Conference examining the Pietralata project.

According to Alessio Di Francesco, representatives announced upon entering the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport that they intend to submit a detailed complaint to the Court of Auditors over alleged economic and financial concerns. They are also preparing an appeal to the Council of State aimed at protecting the wooded area affected by the project.

The first session of the decisive conference ended after approximately one hour. Roma must now submit its formal responses to the issues raised by August 24.
