Gabriel Martinelli remains an unrealistic target for Roma due to the financial demands involved in a possible move from Arsenal.
According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Brazilian winger earns around €11 million gross per season. His salary and the overall cost of the operation place him beyond Roma’s current budget.
Martinelli has been linked with the Giallorossi as the club searches for reinforcements on the left side of Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack. However, the figures required to sign the Arsenal forward make a deal extremely difficult.
Roma have not yet ended their pursuit of Antonio Nusa. Contacts over the RB Leipzig winger remain open despite the Norwegian asking for more time before committing to the move.
The club are now waiting for further clarity from Nusa before making a final decision. The 21-year-old remains one of Roma’s leading attacking targets, but his awareness of potential interest from other clubs has delayed progress.
Roma must therefore remain patient as they assess whether Nusa is prepared to fully embrace Gasperini’s project or whether they need to turn their attention toward a more attainable alternative.
