Gabriel Martinelli has once again been linked with a possible move from Arsenal to Roma.
According to Il Messaggero, the Brazilian winger is currently considered beyond the Giallorossi’s budget. The main obstacle is not Arsenal’s reported €40 million valuation, but Martinelli’s salary of around €7 million per season.
Roma are still looking to strengthen the wide attacking positions, but the financial demands involved make a deal for Martinelli difficult at this stage.
