Roma are exploring the international market as they look for wide attackers capable of improving Gian Piero Gasperini’s forward line.
One of the players recently considered is Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye. According to TEAMtalk, the highly rated 2008-born talent is admired at Trigoria, although Roma face significant competition from several major European clubs.
PSG are reportedly open to selling Mbaye but value the Senegalese youngster at around €50 million. That asking price would make any potential deal a major investment for Roma.
Mbaye has also been offered to Manchester City and Liverpool, with both Premier League clubs looking to strengthen in wide areas and believed to appreciate his potential. Aston Villa have shown more concrete interest in recent days, but the player has not given his approval to that destination.
Roma’s interest remains at an exploratory stage as the club continues to evaluate several attacking options across Europe.
