Artem Dovbyk has left Roma after two seasons and completed a move to Bologna.
Update from La Repubblica
According to La Repubblica the Ukrainian striker joins Bologna on loan until June 30, 2027. The agreement includes a €3 million loan fee and an option to buy set between €18 million and €20 million.
Dovbyk was never considered a central part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s technical project and Roma had been working to find him a new club.
Bologna will also cover the striker’s full €3.6 million annual salary for the duration of the loan. The deal therefore allows Roma to reduce their wage bill while giving Dovbyk the opportunity to relaunch his career elsewhere in Serie A.
