Neil El Aynaoui is attracting interest from several European clubs after playing a leading role for Morocco at the World Cup.
According to AfricaSoccer, Aston Villa have shown the strongest interest in the Roma midfielder. The Premier League club are monitoring his situation as they search for a replacement for Youri Tielemans, who reportedly joined Manchester United for €42 million.
Villa, winners of the most recent Europa League, are believed to view El Aynaoui as a possible option for Unai Emery’s midfield. Other Premier League clubs have also followed the 24-year-old in recent weeks.
El Aynaoui has increased his reputation through his performances for Morocco and could become one of Roma’s most valuable players on the transfer market.
Roma are currently waiting to see whether the interest develops into formal offers. The Giallorossi are not actively pushing the midfielder toward the exit, but they are prepared to assess any significant proposals that arrive.
