Roma have established a clear timeline for the construction of their proposed new stadium in Pietralata.
According to Corriere dello Sport, a press conference held at the Presidency of the Council confirmed that the administrative process is expected to be completed by mid-September.
Construction is then scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with Roma aiming to play at the new stadium from the 2030/31 season.
The Friedkin ownership is expected to invest around €1.3 billion in the project and would receive a 90-year right to operate the site.
The planned stadium will hold more than 60,000 supporters. One of its main features will be a large single-tier curva with approximately 23,000 seats, designed to create a strong atmosphere behind the goal.
The announcement represents another important step for a project that Roma hope will transform the club’s long-term sporting and commercial future.
