Lorenzo Pellegrini renewal remains unsigned despite agreement with Roma

Roma are still waiting for Lorenzo Pellegrini to sign his proposed contract extension despite reportedly reaching a complete agreement with the midfielder’s representatives.

According to Corriere dello Sport and Simone Valdarchi, sporting director Tony D’Amico and agent Giampiero Pocetta have agreed terms worth €2.5 million per season plus bonuses until 2028. The deal would also include an option allowing Roma to extend the contract for another year until 2029.

However, the official signature has yet to arrive as the days continue to pass. Pellegrini is also still training separately from the rest of the squad, leaving uncertainty around the final completion of the renewal.

The agreement appears to be in place, but Roma must now wait for the situation to be formally resolved.
