Roma considering offer for Wolfsburg defender Konstantinos Koulierakis

Roma are studying a possible move for Wolfsburg centre-back Konstantinos Koulierakis as they assess options to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s defence.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Giallorossi are considering an offer for the 22-year-old Greek international. Koulierakis joined Wolfsburg after establishing himself at PAOK and has attracted interest with his physical profile and ability to play out from the back.

Roma face competition for his signature, with clubs from both the Premier League and La Liga also monitoring the defender.

The capital club are continuing to evaluate the market before deciding whether to make a formal approach. Koulierakis is now among the names under consideration as Roma look to add another central defender before the transfer window closes.

Report: Roma make an offer for Koulierakis

According to Ugo Trani on Te la do io Tokyo, Roma are now close to completing a permanent deal for Wolfsburg centre-back Konstantinos Koulierakis for around €15 million.

The 2003-born Greek defender has been identified as a strong option for Gian Piero Gasperini’s defensive rotation alongside Mario Hermoso.

Roma have reportedly accelerated talks in recent hours in an attempt to beat the competition and complete the move before the squad travels to Wales. Koulierakis has previously attracted interest from Inter and Juventus.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Roma are assessing reinforcements beyond the attacking department, with full-backs and central defenders also under consideration.

The Giallorossi have submitted an offer to Wolfsburg for Konstantinos Koulierakis, a 2003-born Greek centre-back viewed as an ideal addition to Gian Piero Gasperini’s defensive unit.

Wolfsburg value him at around €20 million, although Roma could try to reduce the guaranteed fee through bonuses. Koulierakis has also attracted interest from the Premier League, including Crystal Palace, and La Liga.

Roma have also explored a move for Sporting CP full-back Iván Fresneda, who is valued at €17–18 million plus significant bonuses, but he is not the only option being considered for that position.

Rome Reach Verbal Agreement with the Defender

Roma are pushing to sign Konstantinos Koulierakis from Wolfsburg. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi have reached a verbal agreement with the defender’s agents and confidence is growing that the move can be completed. Roma must now find an agreement with Wolfsburg as negotiations continue over the transfer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma are in advanced talks with Wolfsburg over a deal for Konstantinos Koulierakis worth around €15 million.

The Greek defender has already given his approval to the move, while negotiations between the two clubs remain underway.

According to Matteo Moretto, Konstantinos Koulierakis is closer to joining Roma than reports may suggest, with negotiations now down to the final details. The deal could be completed between tonight and tomorrow.
