Roma continue to explore the international market for important attacking reinforcements as Gian Piero Gasperini waits for at least two new wingers.
According to Leggo, sporting director Tony D’Amico is monitoring Lyon winger Malick Fofana. The 2005-born Belgian is among the profiles being considered as Roma look to raise the quality and depth of their attack.
Fofana currently earns around €1.8 million per season, with Roma reportedly prepared to offer him at least double that figure. The main obstacle is Lyon’s valuation, as the French club are asking for around €40 million to approve his departure.
Roma are aware of the financial demands and have included that figure in their planning, although further negotiations would still be required before the move could become concrete.
