Santiago Castro’s arrival from Bologna has created an all-Argentine attacking group at Roma alongside Paulo Dybala and Matias Soulé. However, the trio may not remain together for long with uncertainty continuing to surround Soulé’s future.
The 23-year-old winger endured an inconsistent season partly affected by groin problems. While he remains part of Roma’s technical plans, the club reportedly does not consider him untouchable and could evaluate a significant offer.
AC Milan have shown interest in Soulé, although any move may depend on Rafael Leão’s future. The Rossoneri are expected to clarify the Portuguese winger’s situation before deciding whether to pursue another attacking player.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Soulé has also attracted attention outside Italy. Clubs from Saudi Arabia, the Premier League and the Bundesliga have made enquiries to understand the conditions of a possible transfer.
No official or concrete offer has arrived so far. The contacts are currently exploratory, but they demonstrate the level of interest in Roma’s number 18.
Soulé joined Roma from Juventus in 2024 and remains one of the club’s most valuable young players. The Giallorossi are not actively pushing him towards the exit, but his position could change if an important proposal arrives.
For now, Soulé remains at Trigoria alongside Dybala and Castro, but his future is one of the situations to watch during the remainder of the transfer window.

According to Eleonora Trotta, Matias Soulé could still leave Roma before the transfer window closes as the Argentine is reportedly feeling that he is not central to Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans.
His representatives have held talks with clubs in both England and Germany, while AC Milan have now emerged as the most interested side.
The Rossoneri are currently only willing to offer around €25 million, a figure below Roma’s valuation.
However, an offer in the region of €32 million could be enough for the Giallorossi to begin considering a sale.
