Alessio Cacciamani's transfer to Roma could be determined soon

Roma Interest in Alessio Cacciamani Cools as Torino Plan New Contract

Roma have been monitoring Alessio Cacciamani for more than a month, but the Torino youngster is not currently considered a priority for the Giallorossi.

According to Lorenzo Canicchio, Roma expressed their appreciation for the 19-year-old earlier in the summer and also learned Torino’s financial demands.

The Granata have no intention of losing one of the best young players developed in their academy unless they receive a significant offer. Roma are currently considered unlikely to submit a proposal capable of changing Torino’s position.

Transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà has also reported that Cacciamani remains central to Torino’s plans for the new season and that Roma are interested, but it’s not a pressing issue.

The club are preparing to offer the versatile wide player an improved contract with a longer duration and a salary adjustment. His current deal runs until 2029, but Torino reportedly want to extend it until 2031.

Cacciamani returned to Turin this summer after an impressive loan spell at Juve Stabia. He made 33 Serie B appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, scoring twice and providing four assists.

His pace, versatility and potential have attracted Roma’s attention, but Torino’s resistance makes a transfer difficult.

Unless the Giallorossi decide to present an offer that the Granata consider impossible to reject, Cacciamani is expected to remain in Turin and continue his development with the first team.

Update – Roma Want Alessio Cacciamani as Young Addition for the Flanks

According to Checco Casano, Roma plan to add one starting-calibre wing-back and one younger prospect, with Alessio Cacciamani identified for the latter role.

The right-footed Torino talent can operate on the left and is admired for his physical strength and powerful running.

However, sources close to Torino describe a transfer as “very complicated” after the club allowed Rafael Obrador to leave in order to create space for Cacciamani.

Torino would now need to find a replacement before considering his departure, potentially leaving the situation open for further developments in August.
