Roma Monitor Real Madrid Talent Franco Mastantuono

AS Roma are monitoring the situation of Real Madrid attacker Franco Mastantuono, according to transfer expert Matteo Moretto.

The Spanish club are reportedly open to sending the highly rated Argentine out on loan to another European team, where he would have the opportunity to play regularly and continue his development.

Mastantuono joined Real Madrid from River Plate in 2025 and is under contract with the Spanish giants until 2031. Comfortable as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing, he is known for his technical quality, creativity and left foot.

The 18-year-old is considered one of Argentina’s most promising young players. However, competition for places in Madrid has limited his opportunities, making a temporary move a possible solution for the coming season.

Roma are following the situation closely but have not yet opened an advanced negotiation. A loan could provide the Giallorossi with another creative attacking option without requiring a permanent transfer.

Fiorentina are also interested in Mastantuono and could compete with Roma for his signature. Real Madrid’s priority will be to select a destination where the youngster can receive consistent playing time while remaining part of the club’s long-term plans.
