Roma Target Givairo Read and Alessio Cacciamani for Wide Roles

AS Roma have identified Givairo Read and Alessio Cacciamani as their two main targets for the wide positions, according to Filippo Biafora of Manà Sport Roma.

Read is currently the Giallorossi’s preferred option for the right flank, ahead of Sporting CP defender Iván Fresneda. Roma have already opened discussions for the Feyenoord right-back and are working to understand whether an agreement can be reached with the Dutch club.

Cacciamani is another player attracting strong interest from Roma. The club are in contact with Torino over the 19-year-old Italian, who spent last season on loan at Juve Stabia.

The versatile wide player is under contract with Torino until 2029. The Granata would prefer to keep him, meaning Roma must overcome the resistance of club president Urbano Cairo before negotiations can advance.

Cacciamani’s age, potential and ability to operate in several wide roles make him an attractive long-term option for the Giallorossi. However, no agreement has been reached and Torino’s position remains the main obstacle.

Meanwhile, Abde Ezzalzouli is losing ground as a possible attacking target. There have been no meaningful developments with either Real Betis or the player, making a move increasingly unlikely at this stage.

Roma are therefore concentrating their efforts on Read and Cacciamani as they look to strengthen both flanks.
