Salah-Eddine Yet to Approve Olympiacos Move Despite Roma Agreement

AS Roma have reached the basis of an agreement with Olympiacos for Anass Salah-Eddine, but the player has not yet approved the proposed transfer.

According to Filippo Biafora, the two clubs have found common ground over a possible deal. However, negotiations cannot be completed without the 24-year-old’s final consent.

Salah-Eddine returned to Roma this summer following a loan spell with PSV Eindhoven. The Dutch club held an option to sign him permanently but did not complete the move after failing to reach an agreement with the player.

The Morocco international is not considered a central part of Roma’s plans for the new season, and the Giallorossi are working to find him another club before the transfer window closes.

Olympiacos have emerged as a concrete destination and appear to have satisfied Roma’s demands. The remaining obstacle is now convincing Salah-Eddine that a move to Greece represents the right next step in his career.

Able to operate as a left-back, wing-back or midfielder, Salah-Eddine would offer Olympiacos versatility on the left side. He also gained international experience with Morocco during the 2026 World Cup.

For now, the operation remains on hold. Roma and Olympiacos have established the framework of a deal, but further discussions with the player will be required before the transfer can proceed.
