Antonio Nusa and Endrick remain Roma’s preferred targets as the club works to complete Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.
According to Checco Casano, the Giallorossi’s ideal plan is to sign Nusa permanently from RB Leipzig and add Endrick on loan from Real Madrid.
The proposed strategy follows the structure Roma had previously considered when pursuing Alejandro Garnacho: one major permanent investment for the left side of the attack, accompanied by a high-level loan addition.
Nusa is viewed as the principal candidate for the permanent transfer. The Norwegian international possesses the pace, creativity and one-on-one ability Roma want from a right-footed left winger, although Leipzig’s valuation makes the operation financially demanding.
Endrick is highly appreciated by Gasperini and could provide another versatile option across the forward line. Any potential deal, however, depends on Real Madrid deciding to sanction another temporary departure for the Brazilian.
Roma would reportedly prefer a loan containing an option to buy rather than a straight temporary agreement. Real Madrid have no intention of losing control of Endrick’s future, making the eventual structure one of the principal obstacles.
Sporting director Tony D’Amico is simultaneously working on alternative targets to ensure Roma are prepared if either priority operation becomes impossible. Kevin Schade, Evann Guessand and Jean-Mattéo Bahoya are among the other attacking profiles recently linked with the club.
Roma Remain Alert to Endrick as Left Winger Takes Priority
Roma remain among the clubs monitoring Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid, although the Brazilian’s future may take time to resolve amid significant competition.
The Giallorossi have been attentive to the 20-year-old for more than a month and could consider a loan if Madrid approve another temporary departure.
For now, however, Roma’s immediate priority is securing a right-footed left winger, with their largest remaining investment expected to be directed towards that position.
