Paris Saint-Germain have opened talks over a potential move for Ajax winger Mika Godts, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 21-year-old Belgian has emerged as an additional attacking option for the European champions as they continue working to strengthen their wide positions.
PSG have initiated discussions for Godts while simultaneously closing in on a deal for Monaco attacker Maghnes Akliouche. The two operations are not necessarily considered alternatives, with the Parisian club exploring the possibility of adding both players to its squad.
Ajax had planned to keep Godts and continue building around one of their most promising young talents. However, the Dutch club are now aware of PSG’s interest and the initial talks taking place over a possible transfer.
Earlier this summer, Godts was also linked with a move to AS Roma, who were reportedly monitoring the Belgian winger as part of their search for young attacking reinforcements. While Roma never advanced to formal negotiations, their interest highlighted the growing reputation of the Ajax forward across Europe before PSG stepped up their pursuit.
