Roma are continuing to push for Givairo Read, with the Feyenoord full-back emerging as a concrete target for the Giallorossi.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma are in constant contact with Feyenoord as they work behind the scenes to secure the Dutch defender. While the negotiations have largely stayed out of the spotlight, the club is making a strong effort to reach an agreement.
Read is regarded as one of the Netherlands’ brightest young full-backs and fits the profile Roma have been targeting as they look to strengthen the squad for the new season.
With Gian Piero Gasperini recently reiterating his desire for further reinforcements, the addition of a new full-back remains one of the club’s priorities. Talks are ongoing and Roma continue to work intensively on a deal for the Feyenoord youngster, with hopes of making progress in the coming days.
