Roma continue to keep an eye on some of Italy’s brightest young prospects, with Luca Lo Scalzo emerging as the latest player on the club’s radar.
According to Lorenzo Canicchio, the Giallorossi are interested in the 2007-born midfielder, who recently signed a new contract with Ascoli after an impressive campaign on loan at Napoli.
Lo Scalzo enjoyed a productive season at youth level, making 30 appearances while contributing four goals and four assists. His performances have attracted attention from several clubs, with Roma now among those monitoring his development.
The teenager is regarded as one of the more promising midfield prospects in his age group, and Roma’s interest reflects the club’s continued focus on strengthening its youth ranks with high-potential Italian talent.
At this stage, no negotiations are believed to be underway, but Lo Scalzo is a player the Giallorossi will continue to follow closely in the coming months.
