Kevin for Fulham

Roma see €50m bid for Kevin rejected by Fulham

Roma have reportedly suffered a setback in their pursuit of Kevin, with Fulham rejecting a substantial offer for the Brazilian winger.

According to ge.globo, the Giallorossi submitted a proposal worth around €50 million, including fixed fees and bonuses, in an attempt to sign the 23-year-old this summer.

Fulham, however, turned down the offer. The Premier League club reportedly views Kevin as a player whose full potential has yet to be unlocked and are not prepared to sanction his departure unless a significantly improved proposal arrives.

Despite the rejection, the deal is not considered over. Roma remain interested in the Brazilian and could return with a new offer if they decide to intensify their pursuit before the transfer window closes.

Kevin has emerged as one of several attacking profiles being evaluated by sporting director Tony D’Amico as Roma continue their search for another winger to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.

With Antonio Nusa still the club’s priority, Roma continue to assess multiple options across Europe as they look to add more quality and pace to their attack before the start of the new season.
