Roma’s interest in Endrick remains very much alive as the Brazilian forward reportedly pushes for an exit from Real Madrid.
According to Lorenzo Canicchio, the Giallorossi have been working on the 2006-born striker for some time, with the figures and structure of a potential deal remaining consistent over the past week. Canicchio also reiterated that Endrick—not Franco Mastantuono—has always been Roma’s preferred target, suggesting sporting director Tony D’Amico’s recent trip to Madrid was far from a routine visit.
Adding to the speculation, Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu reports that Endrick has informed Real Madrid of his desire to leave the club in search of regular playing time.
Roma are not alone in the race, however. Fenerbahçe are also said to be showing strong interest in the Brazilian wonderkid as competition for his signature continues to grow.
With the player’s future increasingly uncertain, Roma remain attentive to developments as they explore the possibility of bringing one of world football’s brightest young talents to the Italian capital.
