Roma are still waiting for a breakthrough in the future of Anass Salah-Eddine, but the defender’s stance remains unchanged.
According to Corriere della Sera, the Giallorossi and Olympiacos have been working to finalise an agreement and resolve the final contractual details between the clubs. However, the transfer continues to be delayed because the player has not given his approval.
Salah-Eddine is reportedly continuing to reject a move to Greece despite Olympiacos’ strong interest. The Greek side are prepared to meet Roma’s financial demands, while the Giallorossi consider the Dutch defender outside Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans for the new season.
Without the player’s green light, the deal cannot be completed. Roma are now awaiting further developments, while Olympiacos must try to convince Salah-Eddine to accept the move. If no agreement is reached, the Giallorossi will be forced to explore alternative solutions for the 23-year-old’s future.
