Negotiations between Fiorentina and Real Madrid for Franco Mastantuono are approaching the final stage.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 2007-born talent has already given his approval to the move. The two clubs have now found a basic agreement over the salary structure after Fiorentina requested a contribution from Real Madrid to make the deal sustainable.
That issue had slowed negotiations in recent days, but a solution has now been reached. Only the final contractual and bureaucratic details remain before the transfer can be completed.
Mastantuono had also been linked with Roma earlier in the window, but the Giallorossi are focused on different targets. Roma are working to complete the Nahuel Molina deal before turning their attention back to Antonio Nusa, who remains one of the club’s main priorities for the attacking flank.
