Roma remain interested in Alessio Cacciamani, but negotiations with Torino are progressing slowly as the two clubs continue to differ on the player’s valuation.
According to Il Tempo and Filippo Biafora, Torino have increased their demands since the opening stages of the talks and are now asking for around €20 million including fixed fees and bonuses.
Roma have improved their offer to between €12 million and €13 million, but are currently waiting to see if Torino president Urbano Cairo lowers his asking price before making another move.
For now, discussions remain alive but are progressing at a slow pace, with the Giallorossi continuing to monitor the situation as they look to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes.
Cairo Insists Torino Want to Keep Cacciamani
Torino president Urbano Cairo has made the club’s stance on Alessio Cacciamani crystal clear amid continued interest from Roma. Speaking to Gianluca Di Marzio, Cairo said the Granata have no intention of selling the young full-back after his impressive loan spell at Juve Stabia. “We absolutely want to keep Cacciamani. He’s been with us for three years and has done very well. He had an excellent season at Juve Stabia. Our objective is to keep Cacciamani, absolutely,” Cairo said, reinforcing Torino’s determination to resist offers for the highly rated defender.
