Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini is still hoping for further reinforcements before the transfer window closes, with two ambitious targets at the top of his wishlist.
According to Il Tempo and Filippo Biafora, Gasperini is expecting two or three more signings to strengthen the areas between midfield and attack.
The report states that the coach’s dream duo consists of Antonio Nusa from RB Leipzig and Endrick from Real Madrid.
Both deals are considered extremely difficult. Nusa continues to attract interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, while Endrick’s future remains uncertain as Roma monitor his situation, potentially depending on the departure of Matías Soulé.
Roma’s sporting director Tony D’Amico is continuing to work on multiple fronts, but it remains to be seen whether the club can secure either of Gasperini’s priority targets before the window closes.
