Roma are closing in on a move for highly rated Venezia midfielder Francesco Ballarin as the club continue to invest in young Italian talent.
According to Lorenzo Canicchio the Giallorossi are now one step away from signing the 2009-born midfielder from Venezia.
Ballarin is also part of the Italian youth national-team setup and is considered a promising prospect for the future.
The move represents another investment in Roma’s academy structure with the club working to secure Ballarin before continuing his development in the capital.
