Roma’s transfer activity remained intense on Tuesday evening, with Rodrigo Mora once again dominating the headlines. The Giallorossi are also working on Luis Henrique and Alessio Cacciamani, while the situation around Endrick is still being monitored despite Real Madrid’s current stance.
Rodrigo Mora down to the final details
Roma are now extremely close to completing the signing of Rodrigo Mora.
According to Matteo Moretto, the deal is at the final-detail stage, with fresh contacts between Roma and Porto continuing into the evening. The operation is expected to be structured as a paid loan with an option to buy that can become mandatory under certain conditions.
Roma are now waiting for the final approval of Porto president André Villas-Boas, while Mora has already given his green light to the move.
Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto also reported that Mora has asked Porto to accelerate negotiations because he wants to join Roma as soon as possible. Confidence on the Giallorossi side remains very high.
Luis Henrique talks continue, but no deal yet
Roma also remain in discussions for Luis Henrique, although reports differ over how advanced the operation is.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Roma and Inter had reached a draft agreement worth around €30 million including bonuses.
However, Fabrizio Romano later clarified that the deal is not completed and that Roma have not yet reached an agreement on personal terms with the Brazilian. That step would need to come before any final club-to-club agreement can be closed.
Romano and Matteo Moretto nevertheless confirmed that talks between Roma and Inter are advanced.
Alfredo Pedullà offered a more cautious version, reporting that there had been no direct Roma-Inter contact in the previous 48 hours and suggesting that Roma would be unlikely to invest €30m under the current conditions.
Roma prepare another Cacciamani push
Roma are not giving up on Alessio Cacciamani.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the club are preparing a new offer for the Torino talent and still believe the operation can be unlocked.
Alfredo Pedullà added that Roma want to understand whether Torino have definitively closed the door or whether there is still room to negotiate.
The Cacciamani track therefore remains alive as Roma continue to evaluate their options for the flank.
Endrick situation not completely forgotten
Roma also want definitive clarity on Endrick.
Pedullà reports that the club want to establish whether Real Madrid have truly removed the Brazilian from the market for the rest of the summer.
A move currently appears difficult after Madrid decided to keep him, but with around 20 days remaining in the window, Roma are not yet treating the situation as completely closed.
Martinelli links remain on hold
Reports linking Gabriel Martinelli with Roma continue, but there has been no concrete acceleration.
Lorenzo Canicchio reported that Roma remain focused on Mora and could revisit Martinelli later in the market.
Pedullà also stated that there are currently no contacts with Martinelli’s agents, while reports of Arsenal contributing to his salary were dismissed.
For now, Mora remains the clear priority in attack.
Roma nearing another decisive phase
The immediate focus is now on securing the final approval for Rodrigo Mora.
Behind that operation, Roma continue to work on Luis Henrique and Cacciamani while keeping alternative attacking scenarios open.
With several negotiations developing at the same time, the next 24 hours could bring another major breakthrough for Gasperini’s squad.
