Destiny Udogie to Roma rumour are heating up

Lorenzo Canicchio: Roma expect Tottenham opening for Destiny Udogie after player gives green light

Roma are growing increasingly confident in their pursuit of Destiny Udogie as talks with Tottenham continue.

According to Lorenzo Canicchio, Roma have already received the green light from Udogie and now expect Tottenham to open the door to a potential deal shortly. The structure of the operation remains an important part of negotiations, with Spurs previously reluctant to consider the Italian international’s departure.

Once there is clarity over Udogie, Roma will decide whether to make a final push for Alessio Cacciamani. The Torino youngster remains another option for the flank, although his situation has reportedly not changed over the past 48 hours.

For now, Udogie appears to be the priority as Roma work to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s options on the left.

Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham considering Udogie exit as Roma ask for information

According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma have made an enquiry for Destiny Udogie, but Tottenham are still evaluating whether they can allow both the Italian and Djed Spence to leave this summer.

Spence is attracting interest from Inter, while Udogie remains on Roma’s radar. Much will depend on the structure of the proposed transfer, with Spurs yet to make a final decision.
